TIE DYE
This season is the revival of tie dye. I don't think this trend will last very long considering it's not our favorite trend, but hey give it a chance. Trends like there are really fun to play and experiment with. Remember that fashion always come full circle. Yes, some of us may be hesitant to try out this trend, but the good news is that today's version of tie dye isn't what it used to be. This season it's more of a subtle tie dye. Try it out and give it a try! Listed below are our favorite subtle tie dye pieces for those of you willing to give it a chance this spring/summer.

Our Picks:
UTILITY
I have to admit that I am totally into this trend. As someone who loves to experiment when it comes to trends, this is one of my favorites of the season. The fun in utility is that it is so minimal that it looks chic. You can dress it up with a cool belt and hoops or dress it down with a lazy ponytail and sneakers. This trend is one I recommend to everyone. Not only is it effortlessly chic, but it is really comfortable. Not to mention this trend is so bland that you can have a lot of fun with accessories.

Our picks:
Bermuda Shorts
This is officially my least favorite trend of spring/summer 19. Coming from someone who’s 5” this trend doesn’t favor us women on the shorter side. If you are tall and lean then go for it, but it’s going to take some soul searching before I make the decision to give into this trend. Biker Shorts I will do, but Bermuda shorts are on a whole other level.

Our Picks:
Spring Florals
If there is anytime to wear florals this is the time. Spring is floral. If you do not wear florals in spring i don’t know what to tell you. This trend is pretty self explanatory. Florals are a classic spring staple. There is no spring without florals. We do have differentiation in what kind of florals and what color palette we are working with, but florals are a must for spring. Who doesn’t love cute comfy floral dress on a beautiful spring day?

Our Picks:
Pretty Pastels
I feel like this trend is ongoing. You can honestly wear pastels whenever you want. It can be pulled off every season, but there tends to be a link between spring and pastels. Pastels are great all around. I love a good pastel. Pastels are cool, calm, and collected. Nothing too wild, but definitely noticeable. The key to a good pastel is shade. Shade is everything. There is a shade for everyone. Once you find your color shade you are set for this season.

Our Picks:
Neon
The neon trend has stuck around for a bit. I was a little more on the fence about it when it first started, but now that I've gotten used to it I’m a fan. I love a good neon especially during spring summer. I mean the sun and a neon it recipe for perfection. Neon is eye catching and pretty. This isn’t the 80s where we’re doing head to toe neon, this is 2019 people. We’re doing neon our own way. A hint of neon in your look really does change everything. I feel like neon has a bad connotation to it, and that’s why people are so on the fence about it. Spring and summer are the seasons to embrace color and have fun with what you wear. Try adding neon to your wardrobe and see how much of a difference it can make.

Our picks:
Shoes
Last season was all about the kitty heal and pointed front. This season we’re expanding from narrow to wide front. Everyone was obsessed with the kitty heel last season and I think we’re ready for something else. This season instead of a kitty heel we’re getting shaped heels (balls, triangles, etc.). Will it be comfortable? I have yet to try it, but it’s not looking good. Along with shaped heels, it’s all about thin straps. Strappy heels and sandals but really really thin. Also, snake print shoes are going to continue being a dominating trend in the shoe department. Snake print is usually a fall/winter print, but I’m excited to see it in the spring/summer.
Swimwear
Eyewear
Sunglasses this season are a bit all over the place. The biggest sunglass trend this season are shield sunglasses. Gigi Hadid’s collection with Vogue Eyewear and Kim Kardashian West’s collection with Caroline Lemke has confirmed it. We’re transitioning out of the tiny glasses trend that has dominated for the last couple years and moving into protective wear. Instead of having sunglasses just for looks we actually want our eyes covered. Along with shield sunglasses, 70s sunglasses are making a return as well. Think Jackie 0 in the 70s. Big and wide and color.
Spring Jewls
As the hoop trend continues on, for spring summer say hello to colored hoops. When I first saw this trend I wasn’t for it. The thought of colored hoops made me think of the 80s earrings in party city, but luckily I did some research and checked it out. There are neon hoops, but there are some cloudy colored hoops that I really like. I personally am a big fan of the hoop trend, and I think by now most of you have given it a chance. The new colored hoops is fun for spring summer, and most importantly it’s something different. Along with colored hoops, sea shells are going to be spring summer’s latest and hottest accessory. Shell earrings, rings, necklaces, and even anklets are going to be a major trend. I’m not telling you to go full on shell, but I think a shell necklace or even as insignificant as a shell ring could bring new life to your spring/summer look.
Handbags
I love a good handbag. Being from Miami the style of handbags for spring summer kind of work all year round so it’s very exciting to have new styles and designs come out. Miami is spring/summer style all year wrong. We wear sandals and woven bags to the beach in December and July. It’s just the way we do things here. You can’t get wrong with a summer bag, you really can’t. They are anything, but boring. Whether it’s the shape, style, or material it’s made of a summer bag is a must addition for your wardrobe.
Hair Accessories
The 90’s are back and they’re bringing their hair clips with them. Hair accessories haven’t been in style since I was in middle school and i thought it was cool to put a ribbon in my hair. Here we are years later and it turns out it was all about clips. This season we’re accessorizing our hair with clips and intricate pins. I think this trend is kind of fun. Doing your hair can get boring. I’m not telling you to walk around with shell clips in your hair, but I’m challenging you to give this trend a chance. Try adding a clip or a pin and see how you like it. It might surprise you.
