Price: $14.00 for the mini and $36 for the full-sized version.

About the Brand: Milk Makeup was co-founded in 2014 by Mazdack Rassi and Zanna Roberts Rassi. The company made waves as soon as it was founded with its minimalistic products. The brand is cruelty free and it’s been vegan since 2016. Although Milk Makeup is marketed to millennial women, their versatile multi-use products are great for everybody.

Features: Like the majority of their products, the Blur Stick has more than one use. It can be used as a primer for foundation, or by itself. It is also silicone free and gluten free (for those of you with celiac disease).

Thoughts: I don’t have a foundation because this is my foundation. The Blur Stick does everything it advertises. It acts like an IRL Instagram filter, gently reducing the visibility of pores, fine lines, and even getting rid of excess shine and oiliness all without looking or feeling cakey. This product has a matte finish, if you prefer a dewy a look you may want to try something else. For all the lovely darker skinned ladies out there, the Blur Stick might leave a gray cast on your face. To make sure it works for you, pop into your local Sephora or Urban Outfitters and test on your skin. Overall, I adore this product and would recommend this to anyone who’s interested in a no-fuss product that does what it says it does.
